Our Youth Public-Foreign Policy Pipeline Programme with various partners

As part of GYLS efforts to bridge the gap between youths and the whole-of-society, from the
government, academia to industries where public/foreign policies are being consulted and formulated,
this programme was launched in 2024 at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) where
youths gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the policy processes and how academia and
innovative research contribute to policy impact.

This programme was later expanded to the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in
2025, where youths explored in-depth sustainability issues like nuclear energy and the role of small
states in global governance. There are plans to expand this programme to cover international
organisations to businesses for youths to better understand how various stakeholders contribute to
policy processes for a whole-of-society approach in addressing sustainable development.
